    AlKhalidi: UAE represents the world's unique economic model of the best economic areas attracting investment.

    Al-Mahmoud: We seek to strengthen joint cooperation with Gulf Chambers of Commerce and its members from the private sector.

     

     

    The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, stressed the historical depth of the relations between Saudi Arabia and UAE, which is strengthened by the bonds of blood, inheritance and destiny, "so that the relations between them have exceeded the concept of joint cooperation to the integration of various political or economic issues."

    During his speech and in the presence of Ibrahim bin Mahmoud Al Mahmoud, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Chamber, Alkhalidi said that the UAE has become a unique economic model that has contributed to its position as one of the most attractive economic zones in the world.

    AlKhalidi pointed out that trade and economic relations between the two countries are the largest in the GCC countries, where the UAE is one of the most important trading partners of Saudi Arabia, as the size of trade exchange reached in 2017 to more than 90 billion riyals, exports exceeded 57 billion riyals, and imports exceeded 32 billion riyals.

    The UAE, the sixth largest trading partner to Saudi Arabia, contributes 7% of the Kingdom's trade with the world, which is an indicator of the strength and growth and the escalation of trade and economic relations between the two brotherly countries to become the largest and strongest among their counterparts in the GCC and Arab countries.

    AlKhalidi pointed out that the joint investments between the two countries play a vital role towards close integration and sustainable development. Saudi direct investments in the UAE are rising rapidly, and the UAE is also one of the leading investors in the Kingdom in various sectors and economic activities.

     

    AlKhalidi said that the growth in relations between the two countries, and the pioneering development experience, "We put this before our eyes as a pioneering Gulf and Arab experience in growth and sustainable development, and we look forward to a closer and more comprehensive partnership between the business sectors in the two countries. We are keen to achieve our vision for the future, which was developed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz."

    The conditions created by close relations with united political managements will make the horizon a ceiling for cooperation, partnership and leadership.

     

    For his part, Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the delegation's visit Abu Dhabi Chamber. He stressed the keenness of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to establish the foundations of bilateral relations in various fields, which derived its strength from the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, may God protect him and his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as well as the true desire of the two brotherly peoples.

    This is culminated in building comprehensive strategic relations with determination, firmness and joint integration, which was confirmed by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

    He pointed out that the economic and trade relationship between Saudi Arabia and the UAE is the largest among the GCC countries, where the UAE is one of the most important trading partners of Saudi Arabia in the Arab region in general and the GCC in particular, with a trade volume of more than AED 88.3 billion in 2017.

     

    Al-Mahmoud expressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Chamber and its mission towards developing the business environment and contributing to the organization of commercial and industrial affairs that to achieve sustainable development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He also seeks to consolidate joint cooperation with Gulf Chambers of Commerce and its members from the private sector, especially the brothers in Saudi Arabia, in supporting the development orientations and visions in order to strengthen the integrated economic system between the two countries, and activate them in favor of improving the business environment.
